The General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, is shceduled to meet the Vikileaks probe Committee next week. Sir John, as he is popularly called, excused himself from the Committee�s invitation because he wasn�t in town last week. Speaking to XYZ News Monday, Mr. Owusu Afriyie said he is ever ready to help resolve some of the issues that the committee wants to deal with. �I intimated last week that we, as a party, are ever ready and prepared to appear before her ladyship's committee to help resolve some of the issues that they may want to deal with�. The Committee is investigating claims that the Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister Nana Oye Lithur may have influenced the election petition verdict. Sacked Deputy Communications Minister, Victoria Hammah who dropped hints of the claim in a leaked gossipy conversation also couldn�t appear before the Committee last week. She said she was indisposed when she was invited to appear before the committee.
