Osagyefo Vs Mandela: Nkrumah Was The Greatest African Leader

Maybe there is a little of a bias but the greatest African leader is Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and the most famous leader is Nelson Mandela Even though both of them are great The statement above was made by the Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako in reference to the debate of who is the greatest African leader of all time; between Nelson Mandela and Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Even though he decided not to give much priority to the issue, he stated that Mandela has done a lot for the African race; however, Kwame Nkrumah is the greatest. He added that through Nkrumahs effort, Ghana became the first black nation south of the Sahara to attain independence. "Ghanas independence had an electric catalytic effect not just on the continent but across the world," he said. Meanwhile, he has commended Nelson Mandela for his peaceful nature; which even reflected after his death. According to him, because Nelson Mandela stood for peace, freedom and many more, his death was able to create cordiality between sworn enemies. President Barack Obama shook hands with Cuban President Raul Castro, brother of Fidel Castro at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela. Kweku Baako, who was contributing to a panel discussion on Kokrokoo, said: Obamas handshake with Castro; that is Mandela for you; that is the spirit of Mandela for you
