Man United Must Not Sack Moyes - Kweku Baako

The Editor of the New Crusading Guide, Mr Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, says Manchester United should not sack David Moyes, despite the teams poor start to the season. United lie in ninth position, 13 points adrift of leaders Arsenal, after suffering a second Old Trafford defeat in four days by succumbing to Newcastle United on Saturday. The team has lost five times this season, prompting calls for Moyes dismissal. However, Mr Baako is of the opinion that Moyes should be maintained. He told PEACE FM that though he was worried by the poor performance of United this season, he was not in favour of sacking the coach. The die-hard United fan said the club should uphold its policy of not arbitrarily disposing of coaches, adding that Sir Alex Ferguson endured a similar tough spell in his early years as United coach. The Crusading Guide Editor said if Ferguson had been hastily sacked, many of the trophies he won with United would have eluded the club. He expressed hope that Moyes would come good for United. Mr Baako, however, called for the strengthening of the team with at least three world class players. This, he said, was necessary to improve the fortunes of the club.
