Mahama Has No Intention Of Punishing Non-Performing Ministers After The Appraisal

President John Dramani Mahama's recent call to his Ministers to make presentations at the Flagstaff House with regards to certain targets they have set for themselves which they were expected to achieve within the framework of the Presidents vision has raised issues as to whether the President will fire some appointees for nonperformance. The Flagstaff House announced the appraisal section of Ministers and sector Ministers on Monday and will commence on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM, a Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has debunked claims that the President is set to release some Ministers of their post after the appraisal and review of their performances. I have not heard from anywhere that after the appraisal some Ministers will be punished. If such information comes to my desk, I will let the public know about that. The appraisal is just to access government appointees over the year, he said
