Dont Run Down Others - Apraku Warned

Kwamena Duncan, Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have questioned the motive behind Dr. Konadu Aprakus recent scathing remarks concerning the future of the NPP. He asked: What did he intend to achieve with his comments? What message was he sending out? Kwamena Duncan says the party has various structures and schedule put in place before the 2016 election and that includes a congress; hence Dr. Apraku could have waited to follow the normal procedure. He pointed out on the Kokrokoo Morning Show that there are party structures and time table to followa congress will be held unless Dr. Apraku wants to tell us that he no longer trusts in the decision of the congress otherwise there is no point to say that we must select the best man. The NPP stalwart was of the view that Dr. Aprakus suggestion to look for the best person who can take the party forward and win the 2016 election is neither here nor there because until one becomes the President and starts working, it cannot be determined if he or she is best or not. In 2008, Nana Addo made you the campaign manager; Nana Addo did not get elected and so he ceases to become the best man? The person has not become the President and so how do you judge whether he was the best or notnobody is stopping you from contesting but for heavens sake dont seek to run down somebody, he cautioned Dr. Apraku.
