Leave Orlando Pirates Now Amamoo Tells Fatau Dauda

The ex-Black Stars keeper has warned the first-choice shot-stopper of Ghana to be bold to even move to a second-tier side before he loses his position at national level. A former Ghana goalkeeper William Amamoo has advised Black Stars shot-stopper Fatau Dauda to consider a loan move as soon as possible or quit Orlando Pirates to gain enough playing time. The Ghana first-choice custodian has been reduced to the bench at the Sea Robbers since joining in the summer, a situation Amamoo noted could have adverse effect on his international career ahead of the 2014 World Cup. He told Goal that the former Ashantigold safest pair of hands should be bold enough to opt for a loan move else he will be rusty. Dauda is yet to earn his debut at the Buccaneers and warming the bench is becoming a source of worry for many including Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah. Amamoo believes that could affect his reflexes too hence he can even consider returning to the Ghana Premier League. He added: Even playing regularly at a second league can help maintain his reflex. There is a big difference between training and matches.
