Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Kwabena Ade Coker has asserted that unlike other years, 2013 has indubitably been the most challenging and problematic in the annals of the country�s political history. According to him, the �umbrella� government under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama suffered major impediments to its cherished goal of developing the nation, adding that the president has even admitted to the awesome challenges he faced and hopes for a successful governance in 2014. �The President has not even denied the fact that 2013 has been a difficult year. Nobody has denied that. We started with �dom sor dom sor�� (erratic power supply) and almost 8 months of litigation initiated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), so naturally if we say all these things have not affected us (as a government), then we are not been truthful to ourselves. ��2013 has been the most difficult year for this country. This really affected the psyche of the nation and we cannot run away from this,� he added. Speaking on Adom FM, Ade Coker gave the assurance that �2014 by the Grace of God will be positive for all Ghanaians including the opposition�they (NPP) will even benefit from it�. He however cautioned against the tendency to look at issues through political lenses. ��.Let�s stop politicizing everything in this country. We have to come together us one and look at the bigger picture of Ghana in 10 years to come�.Sober minds must come together and let�s move this country forward,� Ade Coker said.
