Mahama Must Stop The Talk-ShopGhanaians Didnt Vote For A ProphetThey Elected A Prez

A member of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Asante Yeboah has descended heavily on President Mahamas better days ahead statement saying it smacks of someone with a prophetic calling. To him, the President should cease with his talk-showapproach to dealing with the economic situation in the country. President John Dramani Mahama, during the Thanksgiving Service organized by Aglow International-Ghana at the Independence Square, assured Ghanaians that new doors of opportunities will be opened in the country in 2014, mentioning economic growth and job creation for the youth as examples of what the nation could witness next year. He said the economy had started producing positive results and indicated that members of his team would continue to work more aggressively next year to inject more pace into the growth of the economy. Speaking to Peacefmonline.com in an interview on the subject, Richard Asante Yeboah asserted that the President has not laid any economic foundation which is promising to deal with the general hardship Ghanaians are going through. ...the President has not laid any foundation to promise Ghanaians of better days ahead because none of the productive sectors, be it Agriculture or any other sector, has seen any growth..better days ahead cannot be based on corruption as it has been seen in GYEEDA, Subah Infosolution and SADA, he hinted. Touching on the new doors of job opportunities mentioned in the Presidents speech, Asante Yeboah averred that the 2013 budget which was read in Parliament did not make mention of any enabling environment for the youth; thus, the abrogation of Teacher-trainee incentives is an indictment on the level of interest in the teaching field. does the Presidents better days ahead statement mean there will not be salary increment next year? Or it is about what, workers and teachers crying for better working condition?...You see, if the President wants to engage himself in a prophesy, he can go and form a church and that will be better; if it is prophesy he wants, he better step aside to form his church so that he can concentrate on his congregation. Ghanaians are hungry, they cannot see the way forward.so if the President is being prophetic, then what we want to tell him is that Ghanaians did not ask for a Prophet but a President, he asserted.
