Contributing to panel discussions on Kokrokoo, Communication Minister, Edward Omane Boamah indicated that there is growth in the communication sector in terms of its users; hence efforts must be made for them (users) to enjoy the services being provided. Omane Boamah indicated that the ministry and the National Communication Authority (NCA) have already spoken to the service providers and we have urged them to do more to give their clients a much more improved service. It is important that there is no interruption in communication especially during this yuletide. Anybody who faces any challenges on their network and needs solutions can contact their service providers and if you dont get a good solution you can call NCA on 0307011419 or visit [email protected] to lodge your complaints. Dr Omane Boamah also assured that government is determined to implement the Digital Terrestrial Transmission (DTT) process in all television stations in the country by 2014. This system will hook all television stations in the country onto one transmission machine and will give quality picture and sound, according to the Communication Minister. We have promised that by December 2014, we must migrate from analogue to digital where picture and sound will be betterthis will also give opportunity to our television broadcasters; that is you dont have to mount your towers around the country before getting transmission, he said.
