There He Goes Again!!! Osei Kwame 'Despite' Grabs The Queen's Relay Torch

One of Ghana's leading entrepreneurs and award-winning Chief Executive Officer of the Despite Group of Companies, Dr. Kwame Osei has again chalked another major feat in the nation's history books Saturday, January 4, 2013. He astounded onlookers and fanatics of the Despite Group of Companies when he made, for the first time, an outdoor gesture with the Queen's Torch Relay. Ghana welcomed the Queen's Torch Relay on Friday, January 3, 2013, ahead of the Commonwealth Games which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland next year. Following a brief ceremony at the Airport, the torch visited the Flagstaff House where lies the seat of government, with Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur wielding it out through the Ceremonial Gate to the State Broadcaster. The baton was then relayed from these routes in a convoy through Kanda Bypass to TV3 where the Managing Director of Prudential Bank, Mr. Sekyere Abankwah took over in ecstasy. He also handed the baton over to the Chief Executive Officer of TV3, who displayed his stamina before handing it over to the Indian High Commissioner, Jeeva Sargar. The torch therefore took turns and then found its way into the plush convoy again through some principal streets in Accra to Burma Camp where Former National Security Advisor Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah also accepted it and jogged while hoisting it to the admiration of passers-by. The much-awaited torch further run past the Accra Mall, all the way to Apenkwa Junction where the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Alhassan and his entourage were warming up to experience the historic event. Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Alhassan gleefully took the next baton and proceeded to the Tesano Police Station where the recent Peristrofi world Honorary International Awardee, Dr. Kwame Osei Despite was also waiting amidst expectant spectators. When the Queen's Torch Relay reached the end of renowned entrepreneur and owner of award-winning media conglomerates; Peace FM, Okay FM, Neat FM and United Television (UTV); the crowd gathered were full of cheers as they kept hailing him.
