Lumba Composes Song For Kennedy Agyepong

The pageantry, class and the uniqueness of the high class start-of-the-year party put together by business tycoon Kennedy Agyepong aka Cappucino continues to dominate discussions after it was held at his elegant residence at the Airport Residential Area on New Years day. And for those who left late that evening, the real fun began when high life heavyweight Daddy Lumba sneaked in to join in the celebration at the sleek residence inundated with fleet of cars. Indeed, his arrival electrified the already charged atmosphere, and a few minutes after he exchanged pleasantries with the host, Kenpong, he waved to the merrymakers who were having fun at the plush residence; from upstairs, the air conditioned balcony, astro turf yard to the stylish pool side. Lumba, noted for his usual annual release, had been on the quiet for a while but he came in with his latest album entitled, Awosuo. On the same album is a special track Ye Nea Woho Be Tor Wo literally meaning, do what pleases you, dedicated to Kenpong aka Cappucino for his meritorious contribution to humanity and the sports world in particular. Lumba said, Very few people share their wealth like Mr Kenpong is doing, and that was what motivated me to put this piece together in his honour. He has done humanity a great service and that is what God expects from the rich in society. God blesses so the blessed could pass on the blessing to the needy and that is what this man is doing. In future, I will come out to explain the reason for composing this song in his honour. He has demonstrated true friendship and brotherliness, having walked with him for some time now. That is why I am dedicating the track three to him, said Lumba. What Lumba has done for Kenpong is highly commendable, I am glad we as a people are changing from the culture of waiting till someone dies before we honour him or her. The history of Ghana soccer cannot be completed without the mention of Kenpong so I think Lumba has hit the nail on the head, Azumah Nelson said. Kenpong Group of Companies has in recent times rallied behind sporting events like the just ended WAFU competition, Presidents Cup, Happy FM Fans Awards, and Retired Black Stars Fundraising among others.
