Resentment, Vindictiveness, Bane Of National Development - Pastor

Pastor Paul Adu-Agyei, Abesim District Pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church said on Thursday resentment and vindictiveness among Ghanaians, are the bane of national development. He said unless citizens forgive each other, forget past failures and achievements and promote social cohesion, national development cannot be attained. Pastor Adu-Agyei was preaching a sermon at the 2013 maiden workers meeting of the Abesim District of the Church at Abesim. Attended by the location pastors and church workers drawn from Afirispakrom, Yamfo, Techire, Tanoso and Susuanso, the meeting offered an opportunity for the church to take stock of activities in 2013 and plan for the year. Pastor Adu-Agyei observed that 2014 held opportunities for all Ghanaians to progress in life, indicating that it was only through prayers, faith and trust in God that such opportunities could be tapped and harnessed for development. The District Pastor stressed that Ghanaians could build on a better and solid foundation for accelerated national development if we make new covenant and resolutions and aspired higher in all areas of social life. Pastor Adu-Agyei was optimistic that with the fear of God, prayer, unity and social cohesion, God would sail Ghanaians through 2014 peacefully.
