If someone thinks that peace and love are just a clich� in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), then perhaps they are in the dark ages. To the General Secretary of the ruling party, Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, �Peace and love� are alive and flourishing under the umbrella family than in any other political party in the country now. Just as Martin Luther King once said �Darkness cannot drive out darkness�only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate�only love can do that�, �General Mosquito� as he is popularly referred to in political circles, noted that the love its members show to one another despite their differences has strengthen the party in the recent years. Speaking on Adom FM, Mr. Nketia opined that even if things do not go one�s way, dismay or capitulation must be avoided at all cost until what is yearned for is achieved. �There is absolute peace in the NDC. In all the political parties in the country now, NDC is the most peaceful party both internally and externally. We (NDC) don�t have any problem...we argue but at the end we are one united party,� he said. He also described the NDC as the �most internally democratic party� adding that, �we don�t humiliate our members for sharing their opinions. The most transparent party in Ghana now is the NDC�.
