Sir John Replies Gen. Mosquito: I Will Still Be of a Good Use As An Assemblyman

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John has responded to his comrade and the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for his assertion that he (Sir John) perfectly defines an assemblyman than a party General Secretary. According to Sir John, he will still be of a better use as an assemblyman and work wholeheartedly if he were one. Its really good to be an assemblyman because their work help develop the nation as well. If appointed as an assemblyman, you still have the privilege to help your nation and to establish yourself as well. I personally respect and admire assemblymen for their immense contribution to national development, he said. Johnson Asiedu Nketia was purported to have said that the NPP delegates did a great damage to the party by electing Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie as their General Secretary. He said Sir John as the NPPs chief scribe has done nothing than to bring the name of the party into disrepute. General Mosquito as known in political circles was responding to claims by the Chairman of the NPP, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey that Sir John has provided the antidote to repel his (Asiedu Nketia) vicious attacks on the NPP over the years. However, the NDCs scribe believes in spite of Sir Johns experience as a lawyer, he is better off as an assemblyman than a General Secretary of a great opposition party like the NPP. But speaking on Adom FM, Sir John opined that, he has no worries to serve as an assemblyman as far as he can contribute to the development of the nation.
