It was a formula that produced spectacular results at the Bernabeu and Jose Mourinho is following it once more to bring the best out of Eden Hazard. In their days together at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo was always given a free rein by Mourinho to seek and destroy. Roaming from one flank to another, and occasionally through the middle, the unstoppable Ronaldo would identify any weakness in the opposition and exploit it. He still does, of course, and now Hazard, 23, is operating along similar lines for Chelsea, with one difference. Mourinho tells him where to go.
