Pardew and his players were incensed when Cheick Tiote's thunderous drive was chalked off after Yoan Gouffran was adjudged to have interfered with play as he ducked out of the way of his teammate's goal-bound shot.
Manchester City 'keeper Joe Hart didn't move and later appealed to the linesman that Gouffran had prevented him from attempting a save.
