I Will Slap Stimulators Of NPP Factionalism Heftily& Expel Them

those who have nothing to offer, in terms of finances or mounting of platforms, or appearing on radio talk shows on behalf of the party, and those who dont even have the brains to push the party forward but would only want to align themselves to Nana Akufo-Addo or Alan Kyeremanten, I will want to give them a dirty slapIf I had the opportunity, Ill sack them from the party, says former Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Kofi Jumah. That was the reaction of the former Member of Parliament for Asokwa to the thorny issue of factionalism in the New Patriotic party (NPP), which if unchecked, some say could bring the party to its knees. Many party faithfuls have bemoaned the fact that they have been sidelined in spite of their competence and capabilities, which they believed when harnessed, could help turn around the electoral fortunes because they are deemed to belong to the camp of one leading member of the biggest opposition party or the other. However, Kofi Jumah is of the view that most of the people who quickly tag fellow contenders as belonging to the Akufo-Addo camp or Alan Kyeremanten camp during internal contests, have nothing good to offer the party and would advocate for their expulsion if he had his own way. He stated on NEAT 100.9: ...they do not have any good message to convince us to vote for them aside aligning themselves to Akufo- Addo and Alan. I would kick them out, if I get the opportunity. You can go and form an Akufo-Addo or Alan Kyeremanten party because the NPP is bigger than anyone. Kofi Jumah further advised that party members must think of innovative ways of helping their preferred candidates in this period of internal elections than by the irreparable damage they are doing to themselves by way of fueling factionalism. He also reminded them the real battle is not against a fellow NPP member but against the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) which will take place in 2016.
