He further invoked divine guidance on the deceased's wife, children and family and backed calls for a State Burial to be held for the late Ghana-born BBC news anchor. "We've lost a gem and a life. Although, you have died young; you certainly have left a mark in the sight of time past...The Lord indeed is on your side. He knows best why he calls us at his own time. May you rest in his eternal bosom. "He may have died at the age of 41 but he certainly, in my view, has contributed to the development and history of this country."
