Pregnant Women who Suffer Stress, Smoke & Take Drugs May Give Birth to Homosexual Children New Study Reveals

HUH? A Dutch neuroscientist Dick Swaab is making the headlines for his recent controversial statement. In his new book We are Our Brains, Dick claims that women who suffer stress during pregnancy increase the chance of their child being gay. Smoking and taking drugs can also result to altering the childs heterosexuality. Professor Swaab reveals that the lifestyle of pregnant women alters hormones and the formation of their brains, thereby affecting their sexuality. He also believes that the sexuality of a child is determined in the womb and not a lifestyle choice. Although its frequently assumed that development after birth also importantly affects our sexual orientation, theres no proof of this whatsoever. Children brought up by lesbians arent more likely to be homosexual. Nor is there any evidence at all for the misconception that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. he says. Dick Swaab, 69, who is based at the University of Amsterdam, also states that the more older brothers a boy has, the greater the chance that he will be homosexual.
