Information available to peacefmonline.com indicatesthat there has been a gas explosion at Amasaman, a suburb of Accra.
Even though the cause of the explosion is not immediately known, sources say it has caused series of fire outbreak.
According to the Amasaman Police Commander, Supt Kojo Asante, investigations are still ongoing.
Speaking in an interview on PEACE FM, Supt. Asante asked residents to stay as far away as possible from the accident scene to avoid casualties.
Meanwhile the driver�s mate who sustained various degree of injuries has been taken to the hospital.
