Judgment Day For NPP Tomorrow

The NPPs performance in 2013 as the biggest opposition party in the country will be the subject when the Great Democrats address a news conference tomorrow at the International Press Center in Accra. Speaking to the Daily Post yesterday, a leading member of the group, Ibrahim Yahya, said the group gave the NPP a 72-hour ultimatum about a week ago to tell Ghanaians their performance in 2013 as a government-in-waiting but the party failed to do so even many days after the 72 hours. Leading members of the NPP have been kind enough to tell Ghanaians about the NDC governments performance in 2013. But they have not told Ghanaians their own performance in the year under the review? What did they do to show they are a responsible opposite that can be trusted with political power? What alternatives have they placed before the nation to enable Ghanaians decide whether they are capable of administering the country or not? These are the issues Ghanaians want answers to, he said. We are inviting all and sundry to the International Press Center at 10:30am tomorrow where we shall assess the NPPs performance in 2013. We shall see whether their performance was excellent, very good, good, satisfactory, poor or very poor, he asserted.
