I Will Be The Soldier In NPP To Fight For Victory In 2016 Freddie Blay

Former First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and an aspiring first vice-chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, is calling for a more aggressive strategy to counter what he termed "the vile propaganda" of its political opponent. According to him, the killer instinct and the zeal to withstand their political opponents and go all out for victory is lacking in the party. Freddie Blay disclosed this in an exclusive interview on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen programme on Wednesday. The aspiring NPP first vice-chairman, who described himself as a consensus builder and a team player, said he will be the soldier to fight for victory if elected to take up an executive position in the party. I will be a soldier among the ranks to fight on. God will bless NPP to take over power. NPP is one of the organized parties in Africa, but we need the killer instinct to go all out for victory, he stressed. The former Ellembelle MP underscored the need for the party to move away from the conservative way of doing things and be more radical. Prepare to defend yourself, prepare to play fair; but at the same time be prepared not to allow anybody to take advantage of you. If it comes to dirtying our hand and making sure that things happen the way you want, we need to do a little more, he stressed. Freddie Blay further noted that the dynamics of Ghanas politics has changed and therefore, the NPP must sacrifice more to alleviate Ghanaians from the abject poverty they have been plunged into. Sometimes youve got to do few things you normally may not like to do to ensure victory for the ordinary people, he noted. Citing the poor state of the economy to buttress his point, Mr. Blay urged the NPP to strive hard and go the extra mile to win the 2016 general elections.
