Head of the Ghana Football Association technical directorate Francis Oti Akenten has described Maxwell Konadu as a genius for reaching the final of the CHAN tournament. Akenten, a member of CAF�s Technical Study Group for the tournament, praised the former Asante Kotoko coach for his tactical ingenuity and team selection. He points out that Konadu has brought competition in the squad. �Maxwell is a genius no doubt about his understanding of the game,� Akenten told GHANASoccernet.com. �He carefully used every player in the team and got them fighting for the shirt. �He has used every member of the team except the two keepers and I can�t remember when last that happened in a competition. For me I know his capabilities and he will even get better.� Ghana beat Nigeria�s Super Eagles 4-1 on penalties in the semi-final on Wednesday after holding the Super Eagles to a 0-0 draw with ten men.
