Residents and business operators at Adum, the business bub of Kumasi, were stunned by a deadly scenario yesterday when a young man killed himself.
Nana Sei, believed to be in his late 20s, reportedly jumped from a story-building known as Trinity House that houses the Subin Health Insurance Scheme.
Eyewitnesses told 'The Enquirer' that the deceased was apparently seen descending headlong from the third floor of that high-rise building at about 10:30am.
When 'The Enquirer' appeared at the scene, Nana Sei was lying in a pool of blood with some onlookers and relatives wailing in disbelief.
The mortal remains have since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) mortuary pending autopsy.
Sergent Godwin Ahianyo, deputy Regional Police Public Relations Officer PRO), confirmed the incident and told newsmen police will investigate the matter to unravel the cause.
Meanwhile, some neighbors and eyewitnesses have assigned varied reasons to the young man�s shocking demise.
While some attributed it to superstition, others too linked it to mental infirmity.
But checks with some peers also proved otherwise, as they were alluding to the fact that he was unemployed and was always complaining.
