Blay Takes Over K�si

Posters of Freddie Blay, a leading contender for the first Vice Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), are rapidly taking over Kumasi. The posters of the astute politician which DAILY GUIDE sighted have a nice portrait of a smiling Mr Blay boldly printed on it. It has inscriptions educating the delegates of the largest opposition political party in the country to vote for Mr Blay as their first Vice Chairman. DAILY GUIDE spotted most of Mr Blay�s posters at Fante New Town, Asafo, Stadium, Asokwa and Patase. The paper learnt that the posters could also be seen in areas like Krofrom, Bantama, CPC, Tafo, Moshie Zongo and Ahodwo. Mr Blay�s posters were also seen placed on buildings in areas like Atasemanso, Daaban, Tech, Buokrom and Airport Roundabout. The ex-deputy Speaker, who is poised for victory in the NPP polls, also has some of his posters at Adum, the central business district of Kumasi. Most NPP faithful who spoke with the paper said the nicely-made posters showed �how poised Mr Blay is about the upcoming election.� The NPP supporters, therefore, urged the delegates to vote for people like Mr Blay since he could help market the party to get more votes in 2016. �We need serious people who have experience to lead the NPP back to power after two successive electoral defeats. �And I think Mr Blay with his rich experience in politics will be a huge asset for the NPP, notably, in the coming polls,� Kennedy Otchere, a staunch NPP member said.
