The Central Regional Minister, Dr. Samuel Sarpong on Thursday inspected more than 30- acres of land earmarked for the construction of a Model Senior High School at Denkyira -Kyekyewere in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality. The parcel of land donated by Nana Darkwa, a citizen of Denkyira- Kyekyewere, is to facilitate the construction of Model Senior High Schools in Kyekyewere and other beneficiary communities in the Municipality, as promised by the President, John Dramani Mahama, under the 200 community Senior school project. Dr. Sarpong tasked the Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mrs. Emelia Ankomah to ensure the proper documentation and release of the land for the project to start on time. Mrs Ankomah thanked the Regional Minister and his entourage and gave the assurance that the necessary measures will be put in place by the Assembly and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the project. The Regional Minister and his entourage also visited Diaso, in the Upper Denkyira West District Assembly on a similar mission.
