Effah-Dartey Wants Current National Executives Changed They Failed; Period!!!

An aspiring General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Captain Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey (Rtd.) says all incumbent national executives should not be re-elected by the delegates. According to him, the partys failure to gain power in 2012 was due to some unpardonable mistakes made by the national executives led by the National Chairman, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey. The wrong thing they (National Executives) have done is that, they couldnt give us power in 2012. When Haruna Esseku was then the chairman of the party, there was an amendment of the NPP constitution that henceforth, national executives of the party have to deliver power to the partyperioddeliver the party from opposition to power. so if they couldnt do that, that means they have failed and must admit, it as simple as that, he said. Speaking on Asempa FM, the ex-military officer stressed that the NPP urgently needs someone of his caliber to recapture power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2016. We dont have time for experimentation and jokes. At this material moment, the type of person we (NPP) needs to be General Secretary of our party is Captain Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey (Rtd.), he stressed. He added that should he be elected as the partys Chief Scribe, he will ensure that polling and constituency executives were adequately resourced to enable them work efficiently in canvassing for more supporters to vote for the NPP in 2016.
