Tutulapato Needs The Gh4,000 Prize Money Now!

I am not worried a bit about the fact that TV3, organizers of 'Talented Kids' would not take 8-year-old Cosmos Boako aka Tutulapato to UK as promised him, as part of his package as winner of last year's edition of the reality show. To me, there is no need taking him to UK for anything. Going to UK is not important for a young child like Tutu. What the boy needs now is his 4,000 prize money. The idea by the organizers that they would put the money in a bank account in the boy's name and that he could assess it when he is 18- years, is fiendishly ludicrous! The boy needs that money now! Tutulapato is someone from a deprived family who could not even spell his name when he got into the 'Talented Kids' contest. It took some good Samaritans to sponsor his education at the British International School, just to make sure he gets proper education to add on to his music talent. This money they are saving for the child till he attains age 18 can be used to support his education now. The reason that he is young and cannot handle that money at the age of 8(eight) doesn't make sense. Even if he doesn't stay with his parents, he stays with some people who out of good will take care of his upkeep. What if by 18 years, Tutu is dead (not wishing him dead though)? In the unfortunate event that happens, who benefits from that money? If they knew minors were not mature enough to handle prize monies and had no sensible parents and caretakers to take care of the monies, they should not have even added cash to the winning prizes. TV3 should do the honourable thing by giving the money to the young boy. To me, they care less what that money will be used for. They should just give out the money!
