GNAPS Calls For Probe Into School Placement System

The Ghana National Association of Private schools, GNAPS, has called for investigations into allegations that some students whose results were cancelled by WAEC have been given admission. The Association believes the Ministry of Education has influence over the School Computer Selection and Placement System hence, the placement of the students in Senior High Schools despite the decision of WAEC. The President of the Association, Godwin Sowah, who made the call, was speaking in Accra at the launch of this year's GNAPS week celebrations in Accra. He said the issue confirms suggestions that the school placement system is plagued with serious malpractices.
