Josiah Aryeh Is Confused

Member of Parliament (MP) for Techiman South in Brong-Ahafo Region, Hon. Agyei Mensah, has described the National Chairman of National Democratic Party (NDP,) Dr. Josiah Aryeh, as a confused man who has lost track of realities of political dispensation of the country. Josiah Aryeh is a frustrated and a confused man who is seeking for cheap political popularity for his selfish interest, he asserted. The Techiman South legislator made this assertion when commenting on the recent blistering verbal attack on the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) by the NDP chairman on one of the flagships programmes on Amansan TV dubbed Asem Yi Di Ka in Accra. The NDP kingpin raised eyebrows when he blamed the countrys economic woes on thieves hired by the president to fill positions in government. Addressing supporters at the NDPs regional delegates congress held in Kumasi over the weekend, Dr. Aryeh, one-time NDC General Secretary, said the current situation has denied Ghana of good leaders who could change the fortunes of the nation for better. But responding to this allegation, the Techiman-South MP said Dr. Josiah Aryeh failed to protect his position as the then General Secretary of NDC when he allegedly collected US$3000 from the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He blamed Dr. Aryeh for creating his own problems, which according to him [MP,] was needless because of his caliber and the position he was occupying at that time. He said the behaviour of the NDP chairman is sheer jealousy of the successes chalked by the NDC since the party assumed the reins of government. According to him, Dr. Aryeh is suffering from verbal diarrhea which must be checked before he got himself into trouble. When did Dr. Josiah Aryeh know that all the NDC people are thieves? he asked. He challenged him to mention any person in the NDC who is a thief else he should shut up.
