Tears are sometimes an inappropriate response to the news of death, but when a life has been lived completely honestly, completely successfully, or just completely; the correct response to death�s perfect punctuation mark is often a sad smile. However, if tears could build a stair way and memory lanes, then I guess the host of Ghana�s most listened morning show KOKROKOO, will walk right up to heaven and bring former British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World News anchor and the main presenter of its programme Focus on Africa, Komla Afeke Dumor home again. Sefa Kayi also known as Chairman General on the airwaves still appears traumatized at the death of his closest comrade, Komla Dumor which occurred about a month ago in London. In an interview with Adom FM at the memorial grounds where Komla�s mortal remains laid for family, government officials and friends to pay their last respects, Sefa Kayi sadly mournfully said, saying good bye to Komla in his casket was quite an emotional and difficult affair for him. �I couldn�t gather that courage to see him (Komla Dumor lying in the casket). Though Komla is gone�I still can�t believe that�but he is gone, we thank God for his life��I will personally remember Komla Dumor for his dedication to his work,� he said. He however advised that �We must know this world is not ours�as we are mourn Komla now, let us also be remindful of our works�Komla�s death must serve as an advice to all� Komla�s three-day funeral rites began Friday, 21 February, 2014 with a solemn requiem mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral. Day 2 of the funeral rites of the late Joy FM and BBC broadcaster is underway at the forecourt of the State House, Accra. Family, friends and specially invited guests from the world over, on Saturday began filing past the body of Komla to pay their last respects to him. His remains would be interred privately today after a liturgical service at the same venue.
