Close Circuit Television Cameras, CCTV, will soon be installed at various locations within the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi as part of measures to improve security at the facility. This follows physical assaults on some doctors and nurses by some youth of the Aboabo Zongo community, who were angered over the disappearance of a purported dead baby. The attacks led to a weeklong strike action by doctors and nurses at the facility in solidarity with their colleagues who were reportedly beaten. The medical staff, who had insisted they could not return to work until security improves, resumed work fully on Monday after calling off their strike last Thursday. During a visit to the Hospital on Monday, Ultimate Radio�s Nana Oye Diabene reported that normalcy had returned as nurses and doctors were attending to patients in their numbers.
