Otumfuo To Dissolve Kotoko Board?

Otumfuo Osei Tutut II is likely to dissolve the Opoku Nti-led Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko for failing to take the team past the first round of CAF Champions League, Ghana Sports has gathered. Kotoko was kicked out by Liberias Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) on away goal rule after the aggregate scoreline remained 2-2. Reports say Kotoko failed to impress Otumfuo and the entire support base of the club in the 2-1 first leg win over BYC in Kumasi. But a cross-check with Deputy Spokesperson for the club, Ali Maradona, pointed out that Otumfuo has not decided yet on the management. Nana has not said something like that and I have heard about this dissolve thing but hey, nothing of that sort despite reports in the media, Ali Maradona said. The disposition of management was further punctured by the personal agreement between stirker Yahaya Mohammed with Libyan side, Al-Ittihad, a pre-contract that will see him play for them next three years. Ghana Sports has been told that the local Black Stars striker rejected GH 40,000 contract. Yahaya Mohammed has disappointed Kotoko and everybody. Some people even feel he is a disappointment to the club, and it is true his contract ends in three month but he still has a contract with Kotoko as I speak, Ali Maradona said on Peace Power Sports. A close source also told Ghana Sports that the striker is willing to play for Kotoko if he is offered a better deal.
