Accra Hearts Of Oak Denies Knowledge Of Dunga Approach

Accra Hearts of Oak has swat aside claims that former Brazil skipper and coach, Carlos Dunga has submitted a proposal with an intent of been considered for the club's managerial job. Dunga who succeeded Carlos Alberto Parreira as Brazil manager won the Copa America and the Confederations Cup in 2009, is rumoured to have put in his CV at the Accra Hearts of Oak secretariat hoping to succeed Mohammed Polo. But Media and Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Muheed Saeed says the rumours are unfounded. Muheed told Angel FM "We have never heard about anything with regards to Dunga, absolutely not true". "You know as clubs, we as now and then receive proposals and CV's from prospective coaches who would want to be considered for the job but seriously this Dunga thing is a lie". "Even if Dunga had applied for Hearts of Oak's coaching job, it would be of pride to us to announce it so why must we hide it, and if they say the story was revealed to the media by a board member of Hearts, why dont they mention his name because this is not a crime". "There has not been any approach from Dunga so lets stop the rumours". The Phobians are believed to be in the hunt for a new technical handler to replace beleaguered Mohammed Polo when his short-term probation period expires.
