Check Health Status Twice In A Year - Physician

Dr Adu Boahen, Physician in charge of END POINT Homeopathic Clinic in Tema, said the attitude of Ghanaians towards checking their health status regularly was not good enough. As humans we should make our visit to the health facilities a routine every year, especially in January and December, to check on our health status. We should not wait till we are sick, he said. Dr Adu Boahen gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency and cautioned people to be careful of their lifestyles to avoid contracting dangerous diseases. He said the END POINT Homeopathic Clinic treated ailments with the solely-based natural law for healing that we should eat the food of the trees and use the herbs around us to cure ourselves. He said Homeopathy simply meant using pain to cure pain with the natural medicine such as food, roots, backs, herbs and clay which had been the cardinal foundation for homeopathy. We dont give names to diseases and that is the major difference between the orthodox medicine and the homeopathic treatment because our medicines are human proven and not tested on animals. We apply the medication to trigger the symptoms on what the patience will be reporting of to identify the remote cause and there are no side-effects or threat to the person, he said. Dr Adu Boahen said homeopathic treatment is creative care but not palliative care. He said more than six million people were on homeopathic drugs adding that for reptile bites they offered free treatment as part of their corporate and social responsibility to the society. They also used radio and television pragrammes to help educate the citizens on health issues. The END POINT Homeopathic clinic has centres in Tema, Spintex and Kumasi. It has been donating to orphanages and has adopted the BHC Ward at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
