Glorious Bay Company donates computers to Schools

Mr. Isaac Appiah Kumi, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Glorious Bay Company at Akim Oda, has donated four Dell Desktop Computers to public schools at Akim Anyinem in the Birim South District. According to him, it was his heartfelt desired to donate computers worth GH� 4,700.00 to the students of Anyinem L/A, Methodist and Roman Catholic Schools, to learn and become computer literates. Mr. Kumi, a native of the town, said posterity will undoubtedly need knowledge in information communication technology (ICT), to be able to play their roles a leaders and citizens. He, therefore, called on other well meaning individuals in and outside the town to help the schools with stationery and infrastructure. Barima Ayim the second, t chief of Akim Osorase, assured them of his assistance in the building of a computer laboratory for the schools. Mr. Owusu Amponsah Kakyire who solicited sponsorship for the items, said he will continue to solicit help in other developmental areas for the town. Mr. Martin Botwe and Mr. Benjamin A. Nuamah, headmasters of Anyinem Methodist Primary and L/A Junior High Schools respectively, thanked Mr. Kumi for the kind gesture, and ask for more assistance.
