Selfish Nana Addo Has Taken The Shine Away From NPPs Impending Congress

A member of the Governments Communication Machinery, Gordon Ako-Gunn has described the decision by the twice defeated New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to contest again for the third time the presidential seat as egotistic and seeking his personal interest over that of entire party. The 2008 and 2012 Presidential candidate of the opposition NPP, last week confirmed that he will run again in a bid to lead the party in the 2016 General elections when party nomination opens. "When the party opens nominations for presidential candidate sometime this year, I shall be ready to contest the NPP presidential primaries for the 2016 general elections, he told party faithfuls who thronged his Nima residence in Accra. It is in this light that the NDC communicator averred on Okay FMs Ghana Decides program that he (Nana Addo) has reduced discussion on the impending NPPs congress to his Flagbearership ambition. Gordon Ako-Gunn stated that the impending congress has turned into a Nana Addos Fun Club, stressing that the decision to contest the presidential race has taken away the shine of the partys congress schedule for next month. ...Is it not next month that the NPP is going for the congress to elect their National Executives?.....now, Nana Addo has taken away the shine of the NPP conference with his decision to contest the Flagbearership...his decision to contest the presidential primaries ahead of time has compelled many presidential hopefuls to join in the race now, neglecting next months conference which should have been paramount for discussion...you can only get this in people who are approaching 70 years or above 70 years; seeking for their personal aggrandizement or interest, he slammed.
