Asante Kotoko avoided another nightmarish run in the First Capital Premier League after drawing 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea on Sunday. The draw at the Golden City Park extends Kotoko's lead at the summit to 9 points after Hearts of Oak lost against Liberty Professionals. Richard Mpong saved the day for Kotoko after two successive defeats in their title charge when he equalized in the 49th minute after Atakora Gyimah had given Chelsea a first-half injury time lead. At the Bechem Park, Inter Allies managed to draw 1-1 with home side, Bechem. Augustine Okrah took his goal tally to 10 when he equalized for Bechem in the 50th minute after Sadat Karim had put Inter Allies in front in the 25th minute.
