Vice Chairman of the Black Maidens Management Committee, Samuel Oduro Nyarko expects FIFA to take punitive action on Japanese referee Fusako Kajiyama for her bias officiating that led to Ghana�s elimination from the 2014 FIFA Under-17 Women�s World Cup after a 4-3 loss to Italy on penalties in San Jose last Thursday. The 37-year-old match official�s performance in the Black Maidens last eight clash with Italy has been criticized by several Ghanaian fans. Asides flashing two yellow cards in the faces of Belinda Anane and Ernestina Abambila during the quarter final match last Thursday, referee Kajiyama also disallowed a penalty for Ghana after Laadi Isaaka was brought down in the penalty box. �We fell out of the competition because of bad officiating. There were match assessors so they have taken the matter up already without prompting us. I believe that they are going to deal with the referee. They will be sanctioned. Whatever it is, these officials will not get away with what they did,� Oduro Nyarko told Power FM. Referee Kajiyama also handed two penalty kicks to Italy, with Manuela Guigliano converting one and missing the other.
