Joy FM Morning Show To Get New Host

Joy FMs Super Morning Show may from Monday get a new host, enewsgh.com has picked up signals. Bits of information available to us suggest current host, Bernard Nasara Saibu, would be exiting the show, making way for a new one. enewsgh.com has been told that one Kojo Yankson of ATL FM in Cape Coast, will occupy Saibus seat beginning Monday. Station sources have so far declined to speak on this. Saibus exit may have been communicated in the most weirdest way; it was nicely couched in an April 1 prank, where Nii Ayi Tagoe and Anny Osabutey were announced as new hosts. As it is turning out, it was to preempt Yanksons entry. Yankson, the current host of ATL FMs Morning Show, ATLANTIC WAVE, walks into a program that has had several calls for change in direction, including a suitable face and name in host. Mr. Saibu, who has struggled to fit into Kojo Oppong Nkrumahs shoes since the latters departure few months ago, may be reassigned or asked to play sparring to Yankson, we hear. Over the past two decades, the SMS has had a number of presenters including the late Komla Dumor, who managed to raise its standard to an appreciable level. Many however believe the show has since lost its mojo, playing second fiddle to CITI FMs. It remains to be seen if Yankson can work out the kind of magic the stations loyal listeners are looking forward to.
