Okyeame Quophi of TV Africas flagship entertainment show, Soundz Splash has said goodbye to the programme after seven years. In an interview with Showbiz last Monday, Quophi revealed that he has said good bye to the programme to enable him work on other projects for his Emklan Production Company, I sent my letter of resignation last month, he said. According to Quophi, he has been with the station for seven years, one year of which he co-presented Viewers Choice and six years of which he did Soundz Splash. I just moved on because there are other things I want to do that clash with my schedule so I want my fans and everyone to know that there was no grudge, just moving on to do other things so watch out for me, were the words of the award-winning radio and TV presenter. Asked if he will continue hosting Away Bus on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, he said a huge yes, Of course I will still be doing radio on Rainbow Radio where I am the Programmes Manager, radio is my first love so I will still do what I do on radio. His Away Bus late afternoon show on Rainbow Radio won the Best Late Afternoon Show at the last Radio and Television Personality Awards held last December. Delving a bit into what the future holds for Team Emklan, Okyeame Quophi said the future is bright. Our main focus for this year is TV content. We are going to be very busy putting stuff together for TV, some of which are Restoration with Stacy (his wife Stacy Amoateng), Broken News with Baba Spirit and Indepth Sports with Christine Djakah.
