Mohammed Rabiu Returns From Injury After a Four-Month Lay-Off

The 24-year-old ended his long lay-off after playing in the second half for Kuban Krasnodar on Sunday. Ghana midfielder, Mohammed has returned to action after sitting out for four months. The former Evian TG player was an 80th minute substitute for Kuban in their 2-0 win over Rubin Kazan in the Russian top-flight. Rabiu will be hoping to stay away from injuries as he eyes his first World Cup appearance with the Black Stars in Brazil. His return will be good news for Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah who admires his incredible work rate in midfield. Meanwhile, Mubarak Wakaso was not in the Rubin Kazan team that faced Kuban Krasnodar over the weekend.
