A former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ohene Ntow has commended the party's newly elected General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong for his resounding victory in the just-ended National Delegates' Conference held in Tamale. Nana Ohene Ntow, contributing to Oman FM's "National Agenda" political discussion programme, expressed support for all the new executives of the party but hoped they solidify the party�s front. According to him, the executives, particularly the National Chairman-elect, Paul Afoko and Mr. Agyapong, should ensure that they become a force to be reckon with, hence put strategic measures in place to boost the NPP's fortunes. Mr. Ntow also hailed the "unique" capabilities of Mr. Agyapong and believed under his leadership, the NPP will make great strides. To him, Kwabena Agyapong's competence is unmatched and "his strength of character is without doubt. His bravery which is crucial in the position he finds himself at this present moment is without doubt."
