The Premier League Board has selected the Tamale Stadium as the venue to host Asante Kotoko's match-day-27 game against Wa All Stars. This follows the temporal closure of the Baba Yara Stadium to all home matches of Kotoko after incidents of crowd violence and misconduct during their league match with Heart of Lions on Wednesday, 26th March, 2014. "Further to this, Asante Kotoko will play Wa All Stars in the Match Day 27 fixture at the Tamale Sports Stadium, on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2014," a PLB statement said. Kotoko's match-day-26 fixture against Inter Allies has been moved to the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman. The PLB will continue to decide on the home venue for Asante Kotko until such time that the case is heard by the Disciplinary Committee.
