Dr. Apraku's Spokesperson: NPP Conference Organizers Must Apologise To Dr. Apraku For Ignoring Him

Spokesperson for a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku has asked organizers of the just ended Delegates Conference in Tamale to render an unqualified apology to his boss by exhibiting bias in the introduction of dignitaries at the event. Dr. Konadu Apraku, who came under heavy criticism from the supporters of the two-time Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for his comments regarding the new course the party should chart, was ignored whiles Alan Kyeremanten together with other former aspirants and ex-party officers were all introduced to the crowd. Speaking on Neat FMs Me Man Nti programme, the spokesperson for Dr. Apraku, Ahmed Osman, said for anyone to have pretended not have seen Dr. Apraku Konadu at the Conference grounds, would be ludicrous because he was actively involved in the event and visibly present. He also bemoaned the fact that in spite of the fact, a delegation from the Dr. Aprakus entourage was sent to remind the organizers of his presence, but he was totally ignored. This comes as a blot on what many have described as a successful national delegates conference, given the acrimonious nature of campaign before the congress. However, Ahmed Osman has demanded an apology to be rendered to Dr. Apraku for the way and manner in which the organizers treated him, though he ruled any form of machination by supporters of Nana Akufo-Addo to embarrass his boss.
