The Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper, says his Ministry is collaborating with the Bank of Ghana to ensure that clients of microfinance institutions are not exploited. The Minister decried certain reports from the public about abuses and exploitation of clients by some microfinance institutions. He therefore commended the Bank of Ghana for renewing its efforts in regulating such institutions in the country. Mr Terkper made this known at the official opening of the new Microfinance Company Limited, a product of the Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
