Ghanaians Need Divine Empowerment

The General Secretary of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CAC), Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Osei Kwabena Donkor, has observed that the current hardship and conflicts that the country is experiencing is part of the process nations go through as part of the development process. Thus, during such periods of upheavals, individuals can make it only by reconciling with Christ, because life without Christ is crisis. In an interview, Rev. Dr. Donkor stressed that it is only God through Christ who empowers people to deal with perplexing issues and to find appropriate solutions to them. He was explaining the importance of the divine anointing for a progressive life, which was the theme for the four-day revival meeting at the Adenta Housing Down Assembly of the CAC. Addressing the congregation, Rev. Dr. Donkor said divine empowerment transforms and restores ones life to a life of productivity, dignity and honour, adding that, that is the pattern for life that Christ has set for all who give their lives to Him. The General Secretary, therefore, urged all Christians and Ghanaians to seek God because He is the giver of all good things. The Pastor in-charge of the Adenta Housing Down Assembly of the CAC, Rev. Seth Martey, had earlier cautioned Christians to shun petty squabbles and anything that brings about misunderstanding and disunity, since such things undermine the effectiveness of divine empowerment. He said it is essential that Christians create the right environment within and around them, for divine empowerment to operate freely in their lives.
