All Nations University College, Shaping The Lives Of The Underprivileged

All Nations University College in Koforidua in the Eastern Region wishes Ghanaians especially Christians a happy Easter celebration as they celebrate the crucifixion and the resurrection of our master Lord and Saviour. The statement issued and signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Michael Ampong said the University will continue to train up students in a Christian centered environment as enshrined in the university's mission statement. He said since the establishment of the University in 2002, it has influenced the lives of many people in a Christian oriented environment. The statement further indicated that, the All Nations University and All Nations Full Gospel Churches International and All Nations International Development Agency (ANIDA) has embarked on a number of life changing programmes aimed at shaping the lives of underprivileged ones in society including a child sponsorship programme affectionately known as Silent Cry Project which focuses on vulnerable children who are subjected to dire poverty, neglect, abandonment, inadequate nutrition, violence and lack of access to education. This project provides assistance to orphaned children and children whose parents are unable to support them. Some of these children have currently completed Elementary School, High School and College. Other cardinal projects under ANIDA includes, Women's Development Centre which empower women in all spheres of life. The founder of the University, Dr Samuel Donkor and Rev Mrs Rose Donkor were also commended in the press statement for having contributed enough to help shape society by putting smiles on the faces of the less fortunate ones in society.
