CPF President Dr. Ntiamoah Donates To 2,000 Underprivileged Children

Dr. Eric Mensah Ntiamoah, an evangelist, medical doctor and also President of Christian Professional Fellowship (CPF), a non-governmental organization (NGO) has donated items including brand new cloths, foot wears, and other assorted items worth over GHC10, 000.00 to 2,000 under privileged children in the New Juabeng Municipality and its environs. Members of the fellowship also pledged their support to the noble work of the various needy children, orphans, the aged, since they are a big part of their fellowship goals. Presenting the items at a short but impressive ceremony at Okorase in Koforidua to Twumwaah Memorial Home on Easter Monday, the President of the fellowship, Dr Eric Ntiamoah Mensah said the brain behind the donation is that, the bible and Christ teaches us to do good to the less privileged. Also he said the late mother of the home, Eno Adwoa Twumwaah who used to be a patron of the fellowship when alive supported the needy and shared the little she had as such if she is no more, the Fellowship have to continue with her legacy. He added that the donation would help the children achieve their dreams, and appealed to Ghanaians to treat the less privileged, children, orphans with love and care. Dr. Eric Ntiamoah Mensah further exhorted Ghanaians that �needy children, orphans are very important in society and we must support them to achieve their dreams,� he said. He also entreated the children not to undermine themselves at anywhere they find themselves, but rather learn hard and stop watching TV programmes which is of no benefit to them. He then encouraged them to do good to each other in any area they find themselves. Finally, he said the fellowship and the Twumwaah Memorial Family will not forget the needy and will continue to reach them. Dr. Ntiamoah said about 1.1 million orphans are in Ghana with about 4,500 of them in orphanages. Studies also indicate that many of them are continually deprived of access to education, nutrition and proper healthcare. He called on the general public not forget about the needy. He indicated that the Fellowship is poised to initiate new and exciting programmes which is aimed at empowering orphans across the country, to exhibit and actualize their talents and ambitions.
