ETV�s Ghana Most Influential Awards On April 30

On April 30th, e.tv Ghana will hold the 4th edition of the Ghana�s Most Influential Awards to recognize the top 100 most influential personalities as voted by the general public. To be held at the Moevenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, the event is one of the prestigious award ceremonies in the country which seeks to recognize Ghanaians who are making great impact in the society. �It is our pleasure to announce this year�s awards ceremony for the top 100 most influential personalities in Ghana. As a television station with the objective of effecting change in the Ghanaian society, we are passionate about recognizing the people who positively impact our lives and acknowledging their good work. On behalf of e.TV, I congratulate all the hundred most influential personalities ahead of the ceremony; we look forward to having another spectacular awards night on Wednesday, April 30�, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, Managing Director of Global Media Alliance, the mother company of e.TV Ghana noted. The process for the 4th edition of e.TV�s Ghana Most Influential Awards was officially started in November when the bid was opened for the general public to nominate personalities they believe have been most influential in the year 2013. Nominations were solicited through radio, TV, via text through a short code, and via e.tv Ghana�s facebook page and website. Public voting was 80%, while a specially constituted committee had a 20% voting weight, bringing it to a total of 100%. The entire voting process was verified, vetted and approved by Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF), a highly respected audit firm. The e.TV Ghana Most Influential Awards aims at recognising and encouraging Ghanaians to contribute to a better society.
